Moments Captured Abroad: European Signs

A sign can contain a literal or metaphorical message.  You can take out of it what you need, or just simply read it.  Walking around the streets of European cities, I find myself drawn to the words throughout the streets.  Whether that be on the street itself, a handwritten sign leading you to castle ruins, or a mosaic masterpiece–I love it all.  The signs I see tell a story and stand as a figure of history and pride.

I especially love this sign.  It embodies the classic Italian style with the bottles and colors used!

Whether you’re looking for that quote that’s going to change your viewpoint, or you’re trying to simply find a bathroom, signs are a universal form of communication.  They convey a message and a feeling for each person passing by to see.  In which city would you like to “see your sign?”  As November starts up, check back next week to see what there is to do as the weather changes!

Ciao!
